Apple®️ recommends using their Apple Watch and not AirTags if a kid tracking solution is desired by parents. Speck believes the AirTag can be a useful addition to help parents keep their kids safe. And although an AirTag is no replacement for vigilant parenting or purpose-built kid tracking technology, in certain environments it can add to child safety as long as the parent understands the inherent limitations of AirTag technology, especially when in environments without many other iPhone users.
